Located at the western edge of the Entre Deux Mers region in the village of Saint Sulpice and Cameyrac, the estate overlooks the Dordogne valley.

History :
Château Laville is located on the historic site of a Roman Villa. The family-owned estate which includes a vineyard of 40 ha is presently managed by the third generation of the FAYE family. The vineyard has been replanted in 1961 following the terrible frosts of 1956.
Terroir :
The vines of the vineyard in a single block are planted in a soil consisting of gravel and alios (sand hardened by a ferruginous cement).
20 ha are dedicated to the production of this wine.
Production : approx 120 000 bottles per year.
Wine-growing/Winemaking :
Sustainable farming practices are applied : organic fertilisation, grassing down, leaf removal while ensuring a large foliar surface.
Complete destemming and mechanical sorting of harvest. Vatting of 28 days at 28°C. Approximately 12 months of aging.
Blending : Merlot 90% Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Vine density: 5 000 vinestocks/ha
Tasting :
Intense color, nose of cherry and spicy aromas with light floral notes.
Pleasant fruity wine exhibiting charm and elegance
Pairs well with red meats and various cheese. Serve at 18°C.
Cellaring :
Very pleasant in its prime years, this wine will start to reveal its potential after 5 years cellaring.
Aging potential: 15 ans.
